The Aruna Prashna is a sacred Vedic prayer dedicated to Surya Bhagavan, the Sun God, revered as the source of light, life, health, and consciousness. Parayana (ritual chanting) of the Aruna Prashna along with Surya Namaskara Puja is an act of gratitude and surrender, seeking blessings for vitality, clarity of mind, and spiritual awakening.

As part of this worship, we will also be doing 32 rounds of Surya Namaskara, symbolizing reverence to the Sun’s life-sustaining energy and fostering harmony between body, breath, and mind.

This puja is traditionally performed in the morning, facing the rising sun, because sunrise symbolizes new beginnings, renewal, and the awakening of divine energy. It is believed that Surya’s rays at dawn are especially pure and life-giving, making this time most auspicious for worship, prayer, and inner alignment.

Through this practice, devotees harmonize body, mind, and soul while invoking Surya’s grace for health, discipline, and righteousness in daily life.
