Broome Street Temple and The How to Live Newsletter present the launch of Forever Jung, a limited edition t-shirt collaboration.

Saturday, April 4th, 12:30-2pm

How to Live is a newsletter by writer Amanda Stern. For four years, she has distilled complex ideas from psychology, philosophy, and mental health into lucid, intimate essays for 13,000 subscribers. The author of thirteen books, she is the creator of Kinesthetic Realism, a method for writers who struggle to translate emotion onto the page so readers can actually feel it.

Eddie Stern is a yoga teacher, author, and researcher with over thirty years of experience exploring the intersection of movement, breath, and the nervous system. He is the founder of Broome Street Temple, a Ganesha temple and community space dedicated to practice, learning, and gathering. He also happens to be Amanda’s brother-  which makes this collaboration not just a creative one, but a fun family affair.

On April 4th, the two will lead guests through an afternoon that moves between body and mind. Eddie will open with gentle movement and breathing exercises designed to settle the nervous system and bring you into the present moment – no experience necessary, just a willingness to arrive. Amanda will then guide guests through a sample session of Kinesthetic Realism – bring something to write with.

Then, we’ll party.
