Sri Abhayankara Mahaganapati - 5 day sponsorship

Sponsoring the full, five-day festival will include the sankalpa each day for all of the homas, abhishekas, archanas, alankarams, and mantrapushpanjalis. You will also take part in the final kalasha abhisheka on the final days, where you will offer water from the kalasha directly onto Lord Ganesha during the final consecration and bathing. The kalashas are worshipped each day, invoking the different forms of Ganesha into the water, along with the other primary deities of the Hindu pantheon. Taking part in each of the five days of this festival undoubtedly has a positive effect on your body, mind, emotions, and spirit. It is transformative and purifying, and also calls Ganesha to be present in our temple for the year ahead by recharging the yantra in the sanctum with thousands of mantras.

Pujas Performed:
Ganesh Moola Mantra Homa
This ritual is purifying and kindles the inner fire of devotion that burns away negative karmas.
Kalasha Abhiskeham
The bathing ritual for Ganesha is cleansing, and washes away the ash residue that collects in us from purification by fire, leaving one internally refreshed and clear. You will also take part in the final kalasha abhisheka on the final days, where you will offer water from the kalasha directly onto Lord Ganesha during the final consecration and bathing.
Alankaram
The dressing of Ganesha in new cloth, flower and jewels is the adornment of the God that lives both within us and outside of us, celebrating divinity with beauty and the finest that life has to offer.
Mantra Pushpanjali
This final puja praises the elements and heavenly bodies as the flower adornments of creation, and is a melodic and uplifting offering to conclude the days worship.
