Cosmic Weather Report — Entering Vaiśākha (Vaishakha Maas)

The Cosmic Weather Report is a monthly contemplative gathering marking the beginning of the Vedic month through Jyotish (Vedic astrology), guided meditation, and group reflection. Each session offers a grounded reading of the current planetary landscape and its impact on identity, relationships, communication, and inner life.
This month we gather on the eve of an extraordinary auspicious sequence: the Amavasya in Aries on April 17 closes the old cycle, Pratipada on April 18 opens Vaiśākha — a month of clarity, dharma, and renewal — and Akshaya Tritiya arrives on April 19, the most auspicious day of the Vedic year. Akshaya means inexhaustible. What is initiated in clarity now does not diminish.
The theme of the month: trust what you know, even before you can explain it. The Sun is exalted in Aries — clarity and direction are available. Mercury is weak in Pisces — the words aren’t ready yet, and that’s okay. This is a moment to lead with presence, plant with intention, and trust the threshold.
The session includes a live cosmic weather talk, group mantra, guided meditation, journaling, and pair reflection. Participants will also receive an interactive reflection sheet to take home.
Hosted by Anu Kalawar, Vedic astrologer and founder of Contemplate — a platform rooted in lineage-based Jyotish, spiritual inquiry, and contemplative tools for navigating time, purpose, and self-awareness.
