Samadhi: It’s Not What You Think, is the second installment in the Samadhi film series, and addresses the question of why the ancient wisdom teachings are relevant in today’s world more than ever.
An ancient Sanskrit word, Samadhi alludes to the mystical or transcendent union that is at the root of all spiritual paths and self-inquiry. The saints, sages, and awakened beings throughout history have all learned the wisdom of self-surrender, that which is beyond name and form… Samadhi.
The Samadhi Part 2 follows Canadian filmmaker Daniel Schmidt’s critically acclaimed film Inner Worlds Outer Worlds, available on Gaia.
The evening will conclude with a short discussion and reflection.
